The Roast Duck was simply sensational. The thin layer of perfectly roasted skin was beautifully crisp. Underneath sat a thin layer of fat that made way for some of the juiciest and gender duck meat we’ve ever come across.
The Soy Sauce Chicken was just as enjoyable. The slight sweetness from the soy sauce marinade beautifully accompanied the savoury chicken. The skin again was the highlight no doubt, and when accompanied by the spring onion and ginger sauce, this was one irresistible dish.
The Slow Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables was also enjoyable. The slices of pork belly were plentiful and scattered across the whole plate. The poem itself was tasty thanks to the slow-cooking process along with a soy based sauce and the pickled veggies, though they definitely could’ve been braised a tad longer to make for greater tenderness.
Roast Duck Inn offers a quick and affordable option for authentic Chinese BBQ. While their execution for other items may not be always perfect, we know that their roasts most definitely hit the spot every time.
